The American Association for Justice (AAJ) aims to promote a fair and effective justice system as well as support the work of attorneys in their efforts to make sure all Americans have the ability to pursue and obtain justice in our nation’s courtrooms after being injured due to misconduct or negligence. AAJ is one of the leading attorney organizations in the U.S. and all of its members and officers work hard to protect our civil right to trial by jury as well as educate other lawyers in how to successfully represent clients and protect the democratic values inherent in the civil justice system.
At Welsh & Welsh, we feel that the American Association for Justice is vital to the legal profession as a whole, to personal injury lawyers nationwide, and to our nation. We’re proud to announce that Christopher P. Welsh has been selected to represent the Nebraska jurisdiction as part of the American Association for Justice Board of Governors. The Board of Governors is the governing body of the AAJ and establishes and approves all association policies.
Governors are selected by their international jurisdictions and by various caucuses, organizations, and groups within the American Association for Justice. The state of Nebraska jurisdiction has two Governors for 2017– Christopher P. Welsh and Robert R. Moodie.
Regarding this incredible honor, Christopher Welsh has this to say:
“It is an honor to serve as NE’s AAJ Governor with many other great lawyers who have the same passion to protect injured victim’s rights.“
Congratulations, Chris! We look forward to seeing what the future holds for AAJ’s members as well as for every legal professional and citizen who similarly depend on the civil justice system.
