On Friday, February 23, 2018, Christopher Welsh will be speaking at a Nebraska Association of Trial Attorney (NATA) seminar that is being held at the Hotel RL by Red Lion. The seminar is entitled “Medicine for Lawyers and Tools for Developing Your Case”. Various lawyers and legal professionals will be speaking about how attorneys can improve their litigation/case developing procedures in cases involving medicine law. Multiple medical professionals will also be speaking.
Chris Welsh will be speaking during the panel starting at 3:45 and concluding at 4:15. His panel is called “Bad Expert Depositions: Where Good Cases Go to Die”. He’ll be discussing some of the shortcomings that sometimes occur during expert depositions when things turn unfavorable and how to avoid situations where this may occur.
NATA is an accredited sponsor under the regulations of the Nebraska, Iowa and Colorado Supreme Court Boards of Continuing Legal Education. The seminar has been approved for 6 hours toward the mandatory CLE requirements, 1 hour of which will apply to Ethics.
The Nebraska Association of Trial Attorneys is dedicated to the improvement of the trial practice and preservation of the jury system. The Association provides quality continuing legal education and is active in the legislative process insofar as it impacts upon justice in Nebraska.
